To prepare Mao Jian :
you can use hot (but not boiling) water, around 175-185°F (80-85°C). Steep the tea for 2-3 minutes for a milder flavor or up to 5 minutes for a stronger brew. The number of tea leaves and steeping time can be adjusted to your preference.
